If you're ordering from Collector’s Chamber and your parcel is being sent to the USA, we want to make you aware of some upcoming changes.
From 22 October 2026, some products entering the USA may be subject to additional checks by U.S. customs and government agencies.
What does this mean for your order?
Most orders will not be affected. However, certain types of products may require additional checks or information before they can enter the USA.
This can include items such as:

Cosmetics and beauty products

Medicines

Toys and children's products

Electronics

Products containing plants or animal materials

Chemicals

Other products that are regulated in the USA
If your order contains a product that requires additional checks, customs may ask for further information or documentation.
Could my parcel be delayed?
Potentially. If additional information is required, your parcel may take longer to clear U.S. customs.
In some circumstances, a parcel could be held, delayed, refused entry or returned to the sender if the required requirements are not met.
Please be aware that customs decisions are made by the relevant U.S. authorities and are outside Collector’s Chamber's control.
What do I need to do?
For most customers, nothing extra is required.
If you are purchasing a product that may be subject to U.S. regulations, you should make sure you are able to legally import that product into the USA before placing your order.
Where required, you may need to provide information, permits, certificates or other documentation.
Why are customs descriptions important?
We will provide accurate information about the contents of your parcel when completing the required customs information.
For example, rather than simply describing an item as "food", a more specific description such as "milk chocolate bar" may be used.
Providing clear and accurate information helps customs identify the contents of your parcel and can help reduce unnecessary delays.
Please remember
When ordering from the UK to the USA, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the products they purchase can legally be imported into the USA.
We will always do our best to provide accurate shipping and customs information, but we cannot guarantee that a parcel will be cleared by U.S. customs or that additional checks will not take place.
We recommend checking the import requirements for your country before placing an order if you are unsure about a particular product.
