Firstly my apologies that I was unable to post a blog last week, I always like to post something each week but due to some temporary work and illness that wasn't able to happen.
However despite all that I was still working on Collector's Chamber in the background and this is where things could start getting even larger for Collector's Chamber, let's break down what's happening:
- We have a licence to sell soft drinks/energy drinks/Non-alcoholic drinks. Online there is an age barrier and is currently UK only, there is a chance that this will be expanded but research is being done first so that all laws are respected and nothing is being sold to anyone under age. For UK we are operating the Challenge 25 scheme so if ID is ever asked for please do not be offended, this will also be in effect when delivering as Royal Mail/Parcelforce/DPD also use Challenge 25 and items will be sent with age verification requested.
- Pop up stall. There are ongoing discussions about getting a pop up stall at Hereford Buttermarket before Christmas, items will still be available online but if everything is approved and this is able to happen then there will be an option to collect your item from the stall, confirmation will be required and please also have some form of ID with you to verify as the last thing we want is for you to order an item and someone else attempts to claim it especially nearing Christmas. A full update and announcement will be made public if this pop up does happen along with the exact location and dates/opening times.
- Christmas. There will be some Christmas bundles coming soon and they could help you find something unexpected for a family member or friend, these will be announced after Autumn Fair next month but with current plans pricing will start from £19.99 for 3 items and can grow to more items but details and pricing is still being worked out. In my opinion some of the items will make you want to look at the different companies full range (I will only have a small selection to begin with but if you would like more information please send me a message and we can work out other items to get in).
- Collectibles. Firstly there are more anime figures/statues on their way from Japan, right now they are somewhere between Tokyo and Herefordshire. There are also some different collectible items coming some items are undelivered or customer returns but items I've been able to secure are made by Nemesis Now (I am also in discussion about doing direct business with them). Some of the items that are coming this week are: Dark Souls Ornstein Goblet (RRP £44.99), Harry Potter Hufflepuff Goblet (RRP £30.98), Iron Maiden Powerslave Bust Box (RRP £199.99), these items as always are once they're gone they're gone but there's always a chance that more could come in the future.
- Autumn Fair. 1 year after visiting for the first time before launching Collector's Chamber website I'll be visiting again and it will be to do more orders especially for Christmas but also being ready for when Collector's Chamber has a permanent shop.
- Shop. This has had to take a bit of a backseat for now for the simple reason that I'm currently in the process of moving and also deciding on when I'm able to get a shop how many staff should I look at recruiting.
- Whatnot. This is something that could happen very soon after having a meeting with a member of their staff, it could also be another opportunity to employ 1 or 2 members of staff but whatever happens, until I decide there will be no giveaways, this doesn't mean that there wont be in the future but as many people can appreciate Collector's Chamber is a small company so I have to choose do I give items away for free at the start or do I look at being able to give a person (at least) a job.
